Colombia's three cities (Medellín, Bogotá, Cartagena, plus Cali) dominate the top of the list on dating scene score alone, with Buenos Aires close behind on the strength of a weak-currency cost of living and a genuinely large dating pool. Mexico, Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic round out the rest, each with a different balance of safety, English and cost worth reading before you pick a city over its reputation.

This list uses the same formula as our overall best cities for single men ranking — dating scene score weighted 50%, safety 30%, English proficiency 10%, affordability 10% — applied to cities in our database whose region field is South America, Central America, North America (which, in this dataset, is exclusively Mexican cities) or Caribbean, grouped together here as "Latin America" since the database doesn't carry that single tag.
